The most difficult part of starting a blog is starting a blog.  You can quote me on that.  It’s easy to install the necessary widgets and pick your theme, but writing that first post, ouch.  It’s even more difficult when your blog’s purpose hits so close to home.  Starting Nevermore Games is practically a lifelong dream for me.  I’ve been making games for a long time.  It’s a real passion of mine, and now Corey and I are taking a chance.  We really hope the world will like our games too.

Here’s our current game plan… we’re planning to launch Nevermore Games with two games.  We have several potential games, so we need to narrow it down a little.  The wonderful people over at the Geek (Boardgamegeek.com) are not shy about what kind of games they like, so we’re working hard to build some games that will both fulfill the expectations of the players out there and also hopefully surprise them with some interesting ideas and new takes on mechanics.

Over the next several months Corey and I will be doing our best to give you a glimpse into our thoughts regarding games we’re playing, games we’re making, etc.  We want you to get to know us and tell us what you’d like to see.  At the same time, we want to get to know you, the gamers out there.  In the end, we hope to produce games you’ll love to play.
